Meet One of our PBF Movement Partners: Ruth Sharkey

One of the things we love most about The PBF Neighbourhood Club is the opportunity to bring together passionate local people who share our belief that wellbeing isn't about perfection. It's about building simple, sustainable habits that help us feel our best.

That's why we were delighted to welcome local Pilates instructor Ruth Sharkey as our movement partner for our recent Eat Great, Feel Great event.

Hosted in the beautiful surroundings of Sable Studios, Ruth led guests through a calming yet energising Pilates class that focused on strength, mobility and mindful movement. Her warm, encouraging approach created an atmosphere where everyone, regardless of experience, could reconnect with their body and enjoy moving well.

For Ruth, movement is about so much more than fitness.

"I'm thrilled to partner with Poulet Bonne Femme Neighbourhood Club in a collaboration that celebrates community, wellbeing, and connection. Movement and Pilates go beyond exercise for me. They're about reconnecting with our bodies, building strength from the inside out, and tapping into energy in everyday life. When mindful movement meets nourishing, wholesome food, we support the full picture of health, with strength, flexibility and vitality working together. Bringing people together through movement and shared healthy food nourishes both body and soul, and reminds us that wellbeing grows strongest when we experience it together."

Those values couldn't align more closely with our own.

At Poulet Bonne Femme, we believe that eating well is just one piece of living well. The food we prepare every day is designed to make nourishing choices easy and enjoyable, but we also know that wellbeing extends beyond what's on our plates. It's about how we move, how we connect with others and how we create moments that leave us feeling healthier, happier and more energised.

The Neighbourhood Club was created with exactly this in mind.

It's a space where local experts, inspiring conversations and shared experiences come together to celebrate all aspects of wellbeing. By partnering with people like Ruth, we're building a community that encourages healthy habits in a way that feels welcoming, inclusive and genuinely enjoyable.

Our recent event was a wonderful example of what happens when movement, good food and great company come together. Guests left not only having enjoyed a Pilates class and a nourishing meal, but with new ideas, fresh inspiration and meaningful connections.

We loved collaborating with Ruth on this Neighbourhood Club event, and can't wait to welcome even more members of our community to move, eat and feel great together.

Because when we support each other, well-being becomes something we all enjoy together.
