A Fabulous Festive Start to The Neighbourhood Club
Our first Neighbourhood Club event took place last week, and it was everything we hoped it would be! The PBF Christmas Showcase brought our community together for an evening filled with food, flavour and inspiration. It felt like the perfect way to open the festive season with familiar faces, new friends and a shared love of good food.
Guests gathered in the store as the roast turkeys and hams were coming out of the ovens, filling the space with that unmistakable Christmas aroma. Justin and our chef, Dean, took everyone through a relaxed and genuinely helpful carving masterclass, showing how to make the most of your Christmas turkey at home. Ben from Liberty Wines poured beautiful bottles and talked through the best choices for Christmas Day, from lively whites to rich reds and the all-important bubbles.
Our team shared tips on stuffing, braised red cabbage, the perfect roasties and how to reheat the PBF Festive Feast with zero stress. Everything was laid out on a beautifully styled Christmas table so guests could see exactly how each dish will look on the day.
There were canapes, chats, tastings and plenty of laughter. People lingered, swapped ideas, compared Christmas plans and left feeling inspired for the season ahead. Every guest went home with a little goody bag of treats and our Christmas booklet full of Christmas ideas, recipes, heating and carving guides.
It was the first event of the Neighbourhood Club, and it set the tone for what this community will be. Warm, relaxed, fun, and centred on great food and good company.
We loved hosting it, and we cannot wait for the next one in the new year.
